Love, Death + Robots is a 5-time Emmy winning animation anthology series produced by Blur Studio. Launched in March of 2019 on Netflix, Love, Death + Robots delivers a variety of style and story unlike anything else, spanning the genres of science fiction, fantasy, comedy, horror, and more.
It is undeniably one of the most creative TV shows out there. Its fast paced intro animation not only perfectly highlightsthis uniqueness, but has also inspired this project. With the question “How would I have done it differently?” in mind I createdthis case study, featuring a remake of the original as well as two completely redefined and new animations.
